Insurance against incidents

For the year 2021, the Royal Moroccan Golf Federation has revised the terms of the insurance contract with the SAHAM group to improve coverage linked to the federal license.

This new insurance policy covers :

  • Third-party liability for FRMG licensees (up to 2 million DHS).
  • Sports liability and personal accident cover for FRMG licensees (up to 200,000 DHS in the event of permanent disability or death).

However, Individual Accident cover is limited to licensees under 75 years of age.

For players to be insured, they must hold a current year's License, issued by a Club affiliated to the FRMG.

We remind you that the License is annual. It is compulsory for all Club members, to benefit from insurance and to be able to take part in Local or Federal Competitions.

In addition, the revenues associated with the License enable the FRMG to finance social activities such as the development of Junior Golf in underprivileged areas, and at the same time to ensure promotional actions to develop Amateur Golf in the Kingdom.

Insured person
  • Civil Liability and Personal Accident: All "Active" licensees (up to date with their Fédérale membership fees for the current calendar year).
  • Civil Liability: Parents or persons civilly responsible for minors holding a Fédérale license.
Covered activities
  • Any sporting activity within the golf facilities.
  • During competitions organized by FRMG-affiliated Clubs or Associations and previously declared to the FRMG.
Insured locations
  • Golf infrastructures in Morocco
  • Golf infrastructures in the rest of the world
Warranty
  • Under Civil Liability, financial charges resulting from the Licensee's unintentional acts causing third parties up to MAD 2 million.
  • Under Individual Accident, payment of contractual indemnities: Death up to 200,000 MAD, permanent physical incapacity, medical & pharmaceutical expenses.

How do I apply for a license ?

  • To create or renew your license, you must be a member of a Club affiliated to the FRMG, and apply via that Club.
  • For each license, you must provide an e-mail address which, together with your license number, will enable you to access your Licensee Area and other private FRMG platforms, such as registration for Federal Competitions. The same email address can be used for your license and those of your family.
  • If you are a member of more than one Club, you must choose your Club of affiliation for the license, which will be the only Club you can represent at Inter-Club Federal Competitions.
  • After creating or renewing your license, and those of your Family, the Club will create a "Request for Payment", grouping together your licenses, which you can pay on behalf of the FRMG to your Club, in cash, by check, or by Transfer.
  • From the licensee area, you can print the license badge to your personal printer, or store it in your phone's images.
  • The QR Code on the digital license badge will validate its authenticity on the FRMG website.
